Operating rooms, emergency rooms, critical care transport units, and air medical transports all employ ventilators. Ambulances with portable ventilators or automated transport ventilators are known as ventilator ambulances. These ambulances often have a life support system that is managed by paramedics. It is more advantageous to use a mechanical ventilator, particularly an automated transport ventilator, since it enables control over the ventilation rate, volume, oxygen concentration, and pressure while also keeping an eye on the levels of oxygen and carbon dioxide. A less expensive and more portable ventilator is therefore urgently needed in India. There is a chance that ambulance fees may drop and that these ventilators will be installed in cars if the price of this equipment falls.
